WHIN ARE COMING TO LAS! Whin are Robert Dallas Gray (ex-Life without buildings) and Martin John Henry (ex-De Rosa and currently in Jewel Scheme and Henry and Fleetwood). Having collaborated casually since the early 2000s they began working together in earnest in 2019. Two EPs and a debut album, Dawn Firth, collaged songs, improvisations and domestic fragments developed remotely during the COVID lockdowns of 2020 and 2021. Since then the duo has emphasised improvisation and collaboration, releasing the fully improvised August/A Dream in 2022, followed by an EP of remixes of material drawn from the EPs and Dawn Firth. In 2024 they released Weeds, an EP developed from a single 21-minute track plus remixes, accompanied by a video work by Kris Boyle, artwork by LADYfingers and a piece of new writing by Kate Tiernan. They will be supported by.......themselves!
